Hotels

The hospitality industry must provide a comfortable environment for their guests.  This is often one of their largest expenses.  In some cases, resorts on island nations for example, the cost of energy is very high.  Regardless of location, Artic Solar is able to provide a cost-effective solution to lowering operating costs and greenhouse gas emissions.

There are two types of hotels, the business type and the resort type.  On average a business hotel will consume 14 gallons of hot water per room per day.  A resort type can consume 20 gallons of hot water per room per day or more depending on the location.  Keep in mind this is just the hot water for the rooms.  If the hotel has food service, you must plan on an additional 2.4 gallons per meal served.  And you may need to consider each laundry machine which can use up to 45 gallons per load. While many laundries are using cold water detergents some prefer to use hot water for bleaching and sanitation of linens.

Solar thermal is able to provide the heat needed while still accomplishing the goal of providing a comfortable and clean environment for their guests.  We are happy to provide you with a quote.  Contact us today.
